Looking For Employment?  (Click for application information.)

Current employees: Report your hours online. Review your daily procedures and general policies below. Please call the office if you have any questions.

Some points to remember:

  • NEVER cancel a shift on the voice mail or on this website. If you need to cancel a shift, you must speak to the office staff personally as soon as you know. Use the emergency pager if it is within 24 hours and the office is closed.
  • Report your hours after every shift by 10am the next morning to ensure proper payment.
  • Submit availability frequently and keep in touch with the booking office. The more you call, the more work you get.

Uniform:

tux
  • Standard Uniform = full tuxedo (clean & pressed) including bow tie and cummerbund with black socks and polished black dress shoes.
  • Always note alternative uniforms for any event and be sure you question any item that you are unsure of.
  • Included with your uniform at every shift should be the following items: paper, pen/pencil, wine key, lighter/matches, legal picture ID, and if you are a bartender have your bar kit ready.

Booking Assignments:

  • Be sure you have all the information for every shift. This includes:
    1. Report time
    2. Complete location -- address and specific meeting place.
    3. Client name and contact person
    4. Uniform
  • Write all information in your date book along with the hours you worked, so you can compare with your paycheck for accuracy.
  • Remember that bartenders are selected and assignments made by the captain or the client contact at the party site.  The booking office only can label those who can bartend and remind you to be prepared. The booking office does not make the actual assignments.
  • In most cases, we do not know the end time or the length of a shift, so do not ask, and be prepared to stay until the end.  If you have other commitments, let the office know at the time of booking so we can notify clients of people on doubles or coming from other jobs.
